Hi, my name is Alecia and I am a 9 month old black lab puppy who has been through a lot in my short life. I weigh around 38 pounds and will probably not be over about 45 pounds full grown. I was saved from the pound in the nick of time. I would love to be in a family that could offer me the patience, stability and safety that I so need and deserve. I am kind hearted and want to be able to show my family all of my love and appreciation, but I need my family to be patient with me as I get there. When I'm happy, I do my 'happy dance' and when I look at you I wish I could tell you my life's story. I would feel most comfortable in a home with older children (teenagers), a family that has a flexible schedule and one that will understand that I will need some time to be the pet they want me to be.
